Do these make your car feel heavier or about the same as the continental tires you originally had on the car? I ask because I just put these on my Model 3 and It feels like the car isn't as nibble. I'm aligning my tires to see if they will make a difference. But ultimately what sold me on these were the high tread life.

I installed the same exact screen on my 22 model 3 about 1 and1/2 years ago. It has been working great until I just noticed that the battery percentage shows 0 and the milage range showes a crazy number like 3683 miles.I checked all the settings and they're ok. The speed and everything else is working ok. What could be worong? Should I check the wiring? on probably needs a software update that I dont know how to go about it?

Here in Hungary we use Waze (this app shows you realtime traffic and several road information: police speed measuring, dead animal on the road, road construction, foreign object on the road etc.) Normally we use it with AndroidAuto, but here in Tesla? That's why these phoneholders are relevant. I prefer the Arcoche Magnetic Air Vent type.

Assuming you have a NEMA 14-50 outlet, which I do not. It would be more expensive to hire an electrician to install the outlet and then an extension cord. My wall charger is hardwired, so this NACS extension cord is cheaper for me.

Let me tell you a story what happened to mine and how I ended up paying 2500 repair even car was under warranty. I was out of range and pulled over. While waiting tow truck my 12v(actually 16v) battery died. We towed the car supercharger but no luck. Jumped the battery tried to charge but no luck. I thought 12v battery dead. I replaced the 12v battery but no luck again. Reset the system disconnecting High Voltage Battery and many ways still not charging. Towed to Tesla Service Center. They first quoted me 235 to replace Low Voltage 12v battery. I knew it will not fix it. Then they updated the quote to 300. Again no luck. One day diagnosting. Updated bill is 550. Again no luck. They decided to replace Power Control System and updated the quote to 2500. They said that I was out of range until %0 and High Voltage Battery went in protection mode and when car was slowing down regen breaking started providing voltage to high voltage system but it was disconnected due to protection. PCS couldn't handle that energy and fried up....

Glad to hear it ended will friend 🎉 I love EV's but am having similar issues myself. Does anyone know if there is further damage that happens if a M3 (similar year) dies in your garage for a few months (upwards to a half year..). I am overseas and unable to get the process started but its just sitting there dead in the garage (plugged in*) For some reason it stopped taking charge and started draining out and is now dead as far as I can tell, while plugged in, inside my garage. It'll be a couple more weeks till I get back to take a look and do the proper steps. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue? My codes are BMS_a066 & 79 respectively.

Great video. I really want to know how to get the silicone alone and swap it into the existing factory blade holder. Or similar, can I just purchase oem rubbers to swap out without replacing the entire blade assembly? My Toyota Sienna does this and last time I purchased the rubbers I think it was $7 each. Or let's say I purchase the Michelin blades, can then, next time, I purchase just the rubbers?

Mine was about 75 ft away. So what I did, was get a direct burial line. 6/3. Ran them to a weather proof junction box. Used some polaris taps and ran three thhn wires from junction box through conduit to the charger. Torqued everything to specs. I am not an electrician, but I have worked with things like this before. .It wasn't that hard of a job. The hardest part was getting the wire into the panel. Had to cut a hole in my wall and patch it back up. Didnt really want to do that, but really had not other option.

M6 means 6 millimeter diameter of the thread, 1.0 means 1.0 Centimeters (length of thread). For USA people. 1 inch = 2.54 centimeters. It can't be called a U-bolt because it's a nut. They are using "Flat Head" screws in those locations because of the thickness of the metal, it is the ideal thing to do for 2 reasons, first, because it's recessed, objects wont hit it and damage or sheer it off. ALSO, flat heads have a lot of surface area on that taper. When you tighten them... they hold extremely well! You would think they're welded in there!! You would not want those coming out and puncturing a tire. I am a Tool & Die Maker and I use Flat Head when I have thin material which I'd like to hold down without having a head protruding out and colliding with something else in the die. Another thing, if someone plans to keep their tesla for any length of time and is actually competent enough to work on their vehicle, they could raise their vehicle and remove the panels. There are several metal parts down there which look to be rusting. If they are sprayed with "Fluid Film" which is in an aerosol can then there will be no rusting. It must be the Aerosol Can version because that is the version which is NOT water soluble. Only needs to be done 1 time. Very nice Skid Plates... no matter what the cost, the protection they'll serve would more than make up for it in the future! the difference in weight is truly insignificant. There are people who carry all kinds of extra stuff in the car that is pointless and it's in there all the time... so it is no different. I don't own an EV, I will one day but still, seeing this accessory is something that I will remember for the future! Living in Canada, in winter the road is full of hard chunks of ice that form behind the tires of vehicles, left on the road and having those smashing your wiring and pipes would certainly damage something. I watched a video where the driver side coolant pipe was cracked and leaking. He replaced it but I know there is Self Fusing Silicone Tape. They have extremely strong versions of that tape, capable of holding back thousands of PSI. If there is a leak on a pipe like that, instead of a costly replacement. Just clean the area, wrap the tape over and over while stretching to the recommended amount. Let the tape rest for a day, the tape becomes 1 piece and would surely hold strong enough that the pipe would once again work fine. Tape is cheap, replacing that pipe at the dealership is far more expensive. Just thought I'd add that because I have used tape like that in the past and it works amazing. Military uses it in it's Hummers to repair pipes, hoses etc on it's Hummers in the battlefield... it obviously can't be bad !!
